The Doona is an infant car seat with a built-in wheelbase. Unclip it from the LATCH base, pull the handle, and the wheels drop down; your baby never leaves the seat. Nothing else here gets you from car to sidewalk faster, and it's FAA approved, so it doubles as your baby's seat on the plane.
The trade-off is lifespan and storage. It fits babies from 4 to 30 lb and up to 32 in, which most children reach between 12 and 18 months. There's no basket in the standard box, the small wheels don't like gravel or cracked sidewalks, and at 17.2 lb it's heavy to carry as a car seat.
